Lillian Tezber:
Peekskill resident
Lillian Tezber, a lifelong Peekskill resident, died June 23 at Westledge
Nursing Home in Peekskill.
She was a graduate of Peekskill High School, class of 1932.
On September 22, 1940, she married Andrew Tezber at the Church of the
Assumption. He predeceased her in January 1970.
Mrs. Tezber is survived by her son, Dennis A. Tezber of New Port Richey,
Florida; and three grandsons, John, Christopher and Ryan.
She is predeceased by sisters, Elizabeth Saytos and Barbara Evers, and
one brother, Joseph Lemak.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Assumption Church in
Peekskill, where Mrs. Tezber was a communicant, on Friday, June 30,
at 10 a.m., followed by internment at Assumption Cemetery.
Arline Brown: Peekskill resident
Arline H. Brown, a resident of Peekskill and formerly of Ossining, died
June 22 at home.
She was 86.
She was born May 16, 1920, in Ossining to William and Anna Maher Hansen.
She worked as a bookkeeper in Ossining for numerous companies.
She was predeceased by her brother, William and sisters, Anna Leonard
and Dorothy Callahan.
She is survived by her son, Nelson Brown and his wife, Kathleen; and
grandchildren Alexis and Ryan Brown.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Theresa's Church Briarcliff,
followed by burial at St. Augustine's Cemetery.
Adele Palmietto: Croton resident
Adele F. Palmietto, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson, died June
22.
She was 99.
She was born August 28, 1906, to Frederick and Anna (Vlk) Blaschke in
New York City. She was married in Croton-on-Hudson to Frank Palmietto
and was a longtime parishioner of Holy Name of Mary Church.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Marie Cooper of Cold Spring
and Caroline Zeppetelli of Cortlandt; one brother, Stanley Blaschke
of Plantation, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one
great-great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank, in 1971, and her son, Mario,
in 2002.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Name of Mary Church.
Arthur Feile Jr.: Yorktown resident
Arthur Feile Jr., a longtime resident of Yorktown, died May
8 at Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt.
He was 82.
Mr. Feile was born June 19, 1923, in Brooklyn to Arthur and Edna Feile.
He was also educated in Brooklyn.
On August 9, 1947, he married Alice Roos in Brooklyn.
He is survived by his son, Steven of Yorktown; one daughter, Margaret
of Shrub Oak; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Mr. Feile worked as a civil engineer for Chas H. Sells, Inc. in Bedford
Hills. He worked with the company for 31 years and retired in 1987.
Mr. Feile served in the Army Corps of Engineers form 1942 to 1985, attaining
the rank of CWO 4. He also served in WW11 and Korea and Army Reserves.
He belonged to the VFW Post 8323 in Yorktown.
Funeral services were held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Putnam Valley. Memorial
contributions may be sent to Disabled Veterans organizations.
