Cherry blossoms will once again herald the arrival of spring in Westchester at this year's Sakura Matsuri or Cherry Blossom Festival. With the flowering of the cherry trees, visitors can participate in the Japanese tradition of ohanami (cherry blossom viewing) and contemplate the cycle of the seasons. Traditional Japanese arts will also be showcased with events and performances which take place on a specially constructed stage and under the cherry trees in the park.
